Ryan has over a decade of experience serving in roles as a youth, small groups, and equipping pastor and is now excited to be serving as the Lead Pastor here at CCC! Before that, he taught philosophy courses for several universities. He and his wife, Erin, have five children, and they enjoy reading, hiking, and working in the garden when the weather’s warm. Ryan is most passionate about walking with others as they grow to be like Jesus.
Outreach & Connections Pastor
CJ has been on staff at CCC for over 10 years doing student ministry and now is in the role of Pastor of Outreach and Connections. He studied Business and Organizational Communication at the University of Akron, with a minor in psychology, and studied at a ministry program called the Vineyard Leadership Institute. He enjoys meeting people, film projects, music, and helping people see their value, potential and find a home in the church.
Children's Ministry Director
Leslie graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She has over 15 years of experience working with children. She enjoys laughing, sewing, crafting, and using her creativity to serve the church and her community. Her desire is to see the children of CCC grow and connect with the community of our church. She is married and has two teenage daughters. She has a passion for children’s ministry and community.
Duane has recently transitioned to his role as Equipping Pastor after pastoring the church since its inception. He leads our missions council, provides pastoral care, and shepherds our Life Group leaders. Duane also serves as Director of the Christian Connect Network, which is a network of non-denominational pastors and churches in the Columbus area. Duane and his wife Gloria have three grown children and seven amazing grandchildren.
Patti joined the staff as our Office Administrator in August 2017. She became a member of Christian Community Church in January 2013. She heads up Our Daily Bread ministry which serves meals and provides sack lunches to the homeless and less fortunate at The Dream Center in the Short North. She has three grown children and three grandsons. She lives with her sister Peggy who is also a member of CCC, and they reside together in their childhood home.
Joe graduated from Cedarville University with a Bachelor of Art in Industrial Design, while minoring in Biblical Studies. He has over 7 years of experience working with youth. His favorite parts of youth ministry are working with the youth team, student leadership, and destroying teenagers in basketball. Joe is married to his beautiful wife, Jordy, and thy enjoy watching Ohio State football and taking walks (in warmer months).
Service Program Director
Erin is a Fine Arts major from Taylor University and enjoys using creative elements, visual art, and the gifts of our congregation to create spaces for people to encounter the presence of God. Her goal is to work together with teams to enrich our Sunday morning service by speaking to every part of the person as we seek to worship the Lord "... in spirit and in truth." She also stays busy homeschooling her crew of five kids and enjoys hiking in beautiful places!
Music Ministry Director
David has been leading the band at CCC for several years. He's passionate about music and enjoys planning song sets each week for our Sunday services as well as developing a team of excellent musicians and vocalists. He and his wife Brittany have two young daughters who keep life busy and full of fun!
Sway (short for Josue!) has attended CCC since he was a child and came with his parents. After high school, Sway became a Youth Leader and graduated from Columbus State's culinary school. Sway's job surrounds making the church run, which sometimes includes excellent food! He is the king of hobbies, and loves learning new things. He and his wife, Robyn, have been Youth Leaders for almost 10 years, and have two children, Malachi and Silas.
Abbi has been leading worship for the last 9 years. She started in the children’s band, continued into youth, and is now one of the leaders on Sunday morning. She loves music and has a passion to see it become a more instrumental part in how we glorify God. Abbi is newly married to her husband, Sam, who is also a part of the worship team. They enjoy board games and spending time in community with friends.
