WHAT IS CAMPFERENCE?
Campference is a two-day event at Christian Community Church for middle and high schoolers to learn, worship, and grow together as the Church (it's also going to be a ton of fun!). It's not an overnight event (conference) so students will arrive each day and leave each day. Scroll down to check out more details like speakers, safety protocols, and our schedule.
CAMPFERENCE THEME
We've often asked, "Where is Christ in the midst of crisis?" But now as we stand in the midst of a worldwide pandemic, scorching racial tensions, and the war for our own hearts it's become the most important question with an even more important answer.
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8

Staff and Attendees will do symptom assessment prior to arrival:

Shortness of breath, chills, fever of 100.0 or more, cough, muscle pain, sore throat, muscle pain, diarrhea, new loss of taste or smell

Temperatures will be taken at the door as students/staff for morning and evening sessions

The church will be limited to attendees and staff

Indoor sessions will be socially distanced (seating and exits)

Sanctuary, lobby, and restrooms will be sanitized prior to arrival, mid-day, and prior to evening sessions.

Hand sanitizer will be readily available and encouraged

Supply and require masks during indoor sessions

Utilize fans to create air movement, supplement outside air when possible.

Food will be individually packaged and distributed by staff with face coverings and gloves – no buffet style

Social distancing will be encouraged for both indoor and outdoor portions of campference
*To reduce risk we please ask that if you've been exposed to COVID-19 as recent as 14 days prior, or are experiencing any symptoms leading up to campference to please let your youth pastor know. In the case of a student/family that has already paid, but must be withheld because of sickness, a full refund will be given.
