THE SEASON OF LENT

PREPARING OUR HEARTS FOR EASTER

When: 2/14-3/30 ​

What: Lent is a special time that precedes Holy Week. It is a (roughly) forty-day season in which we focus on our sinfulness and need for a Savior. We confess our sins, cry out to God in lament, and commit to repentance. Many people fast to remind themselves of their dire need for God. This experience of the valley of our own frailty makes the wonder of the Cross and the hope of Easter all the more transformative. We encourage you, CCCHURCH, to remember this season. One way to do so is by following the experientials found at the 2024 Lent Project produced by Biola University. Let's anticipate the joy of Easter together this year!
