How do I get into the building? Each family receives two security access cards at the beginning of the school year. These cards allow you to enter through the west doors, by the main office, from 9a.m. - 2p.m., Monday - Thursday. Should you forget your card or lose it, please check in at the front office and they will open the door for you. How do I check in my child in each morning? Children must be signed into and out of their classrooms each school day. The sign in sheets are located on the counter or table outside of each classroom. Please initial in the appropriate column and leave a phone number where you can be reached during the school day. This is the first phone number we will call should we need you during the day. We will not release a child to anyone other than the parent/guardian or authorized person listed on the Emergency Contact Information form. Please place your child's name tag on and help them get their belongings situated for the day. What if I’m needed during the day? If you are needed during the school day, we will try to contact you using the phone number provided on the sign in sheet. If we cannot reach you, we will try all phone numbers we have on file and on your emergency card, should we need to contact one of your emergency contacts. What should I send to school with my child? Please pack the following items each day: a lunch that does not need to be refrigerated or microwaved, a change of clothes (including socks), 2 diapers (as needed), appropriate clothing for playing outdoors (layers are usually best in Colorado), a sippy cup or water bottle. Please be sure to label everything clearly with your child's name. When and where do I pay my tuition? Tuition is paid monthly from September - May and is due on your child's first school day of each month. All tuition is prorated and is the same amount for every month regardless of the number of days school is in session that month. In order to provide a quality program and for obvious budget reasons there are no refunds of tuition if your child misses a day due to illness or vacation or if the program is forced to close due to inclement weather. Payment is due no later than the 10th of each month. A $10 late fee will be collected on amounts that are past due. Can my child attend an extra day? / My child is going to be absent, can another child take my child's place on that day? You may pay a daily rate of $25 if you would like your child to come an extra day and there is room in their class. The program will do its best to provide an approved list of children interested in substituting for each age group. If your child will be absent, you have the option of arranging for a substitute for that day. The parent of the child substitute will pay a daily fee of $25 directly to the parent of the enrolled child. Please notify the program office if your child will have a substitute. How do I obtain a security access card for my nanny, babysitter, or grandparent? Each family receives two cards at the beginning of the year.
