Ricks Bio

I was born in central Minnesota in 1950 where I spent most of my growing up years. My college days where spent at Moorhead State College in Moorhead Minnesota. I met my Wife Debbie in Minneapolis and we made our home in Litchfield Minnesota where I worked in hi-tech component development and production. In Litchfield I came to know Jesus through my wife and the guys at the First Baptist Church. I became involved as an elder in the church and a board member – administrator with Youth for Christ. I also became a board member and headed up the Dawson McAllister Association youth ministry for a period of time while still in Minnesota. We moved to Colorado in 2002 where we attended many churches and finally settled in at Waterstone. Here we plan to serve our brothers and sisters with all the gifts and blessings the Lord has given us.

The ministry in a nutshell…….

Know your gift and then give it away

with no strings attached!

The ministry infrastructure provides:

1) group fellowship with other givers

2) "give it away" life-style coaching

3) methods for discovering unspoken needs

4) a listing of community needs

5) a mechanism for connecting givers with needs

Statement of purpose

  • Encourage Christian men to develop a lifestyle of giving while expecting nothing in return for God's glory. *God-given time, talent, treasure, experience and listening ear. (2Cor. 9:6-8 "God loves a cheerful giver".)
  • Coach Christian men in how to look for, anticipate and discover needs and opportunities to serve others (Phil. 2:4 "Do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also the interests of others.")
  • Inspire receivers to also give away their gifts and serve others. (John 13:15 After washing their feet, Jesus said, "For I gave you an example that you also should do as I did to you.")
