Welcome!
On behalf of WaterStone Community Church and Splash children’s ministry, we want to extend a warm welcome to your family! If you’re new to Splash, these are the things you need to know to get your feet wet in our ministry:

Guest Check-In
We ask guests with children to check-in at the Splash Info Center in the main Concourse. There, a volunteer will assist you with completing a guest registration form and name tag for your child and will give you directions to your child’s classroom. Our volunteers are also happy to answer any questions you might have. After your first visit, we will send you a barcode that you can use to check-in your children using 1 of the 4 kiosks set up by the Splash Info Center. Click here to view instructions for the check-in computers. Guests are asked to complete a family registration form (see below) when they decide to make WaterStone their church home.

Family Registration
We ask parents to complete a family registration form that includes basic information about their family and children such as names, address, phone number, ages, and allergy information. Parents can update their registration and allergy information at any time by downloading the form from our website or by stopping by the Splash Info center on Sunday mornings. Once we receive a completed family registration form, the child's name is added to the classroom roster and the family is able to check-in their child using the computerized check-in system.

Children with Special Needs
WaterStone's ministry to children with special needs is called the Butterfly Ministry.  Each child with special needs is assigned a “Butterfly Buddy" who provides one-on-one assistance to the child during Sunday school classes and special events. Parent Involvement
At WaterStone, we believe that the primary responsibility for instilling faith in kids lies with parents and that's why we ask that parents who register with Splash serve in our classrooms either regularly as teachers or greeters or at a minimum, once per quarter during the Sunday school year. Not only do children love to have their parents join them in the rooms, parents reap the indescribable reward of watching their children blossom socially and spiritually in a group setting. Parents are also invited to help with behind-the-scenes tasks throughout the year. Getting Connected
WaterStone uses an online communication program called Connected@WaterStone. Connected is a great way to get in touch with the staff and congregation at WaterStone. It's also a great way to stay up to date with what’s going on at WaterStone. Follow this link and sign up today. • We invite kids to dive into to God's truth,

    get soaked
     with us in His love

    and make a
    splash logo

    in the world!

  • Our Faith Strategy in SPLASH is fivefold:

To develop a sense of belonging in the faith community through relationships with people other than their families. Spiritual development is the responsibility of all members of the faith community. That’s why every Sunday kids can spend quality time with their river guides (small group leaders).
To participate in the activities and traditions of the faith community. Children need to be able to act on their faith through worship and serving and that’s why we offer opportunities for them to do this throughout the year.
To witness adults who model their faith. Children need to see adults who struggle, who trust God, who make mistakes and are forgiven, who work for mercy and justice, and model Kingdom values.
To be taught using various methods so that they learn to see the evidence of God in their everyday lives. That’s why we have leaders who are passionate about teaching kids the TRUTH!
To be challenged to make wise choices and live intentionally in God’s way. We want kids who use God’s Word as their guide and we make sure kids leave each week knowing how to a
pply God’s truth in their lives.
      • We partner with families to develop kids into faithful followers of Jesus.
      • We are a welcoming place where families can explore a relationship with Jesus in a safe community.
      • We experience God’s story in a variety of creative, fun, relevant, and meaningful ways.
      • We participate in acts of service to show God's love to our families, our community and our world.
      • We challenge each family to worship God in every area of their life.
