With economic conditions continuing to deteriorate, the face of our homeless neighbors in Jefferson County is very different than we might imagine.  There are now more than 2,800 verified homeless children in Jefferson County Schools, and that number is growing daily.  Less Homeless works to provide temporary shelter for the homeless in Jefferson County.


  GET INVOLVED                                                               

There are several ways to get involved with Less Homeless. 
Check out a few of them below:

  • Donate coats, blankets, sleeping bags, socks, scarves,
    long johns, etc.
  • Give financially to the Jefferson County Emergency Shelter
    Motel Voucher Program
  • Become a part of a WaterStone mentor team for a family
    transitioning from homelessness
