Open Door Ministries exists to provide practical
help and hope to people in Denver’s inner city
who are homeless or in danger of becoming homeless.
Our mission is to embrace needy and broken
people in urban Denver with the heart and
hands of Jesus.
Open Door provides everything from transitional homes and
high-quality preschool for young
mothers and their children, to outreach to
disabled people through our TRYAD program
and Cornerstone Home, to free weekly meals
and a job resource center for those in need.
Through these unique programs, we supply
tangible needs like food, clothing and shelter,
as well as intangible needs such as friendship,
hope and Christian spiritual guidance.

GET INVOLVED
There are many ways to get involved. Here are just a few:
- Provide meals for any of our various programs
throughout the week
- Help with various fix-it projects or landscaping
and gardening for any of our 8 buildings
- Serve in one of many roles alongside our program
participants, from volunteering in the preschool
to mentoring a street child, to organizing birthday
parties for our house residents and beyond
- Assist in the office with computer repairs,
mailings, brochures, and other basic advertising
