Fundraiser for Brenda Carruth: On Sunday, February 19, there will be a fundraiser for Brenda Carruth, who is on her fifth bout with cancer in the past ten years. Brenda serves on the worship team at WaterStone and is a single mom. Join her friends and family at the Toad Tavern (5302 S. Federal Circle, Littleton, CO 20123) from 1-5 p.m. this Sunday for a concert by the Red Hot Blues Catz Band and silent auction. For more information, call the Haysletts at 303.548.3423.  

Rally for the Common Good: On Sunday, February 19 at 4 p.m., Denver Seminary is partnering with WaterStone to put on the 2012 Rally for the Common Good. This years theme is: Caring for our Father's World - How do we pursue a God-centered response to the environment? Edward Brown from Care of Creation will be the keynote speaker and Aaron Strumpel will be the musical guest for the evening. Learn more about the rally on Denver Seminary's website.

First Wednesday Lecture: Join us for our free First Wednesday Lecture on March 7 at 7 p.m. in Room 205W. Dr. Elisabeth Nesbit of Denver Seminary will explore the topic Identity-Call-Contentment. Are you tired of trying to be someone you're not? Come explore how it could look to live authentically in a way that enables you to serve out of the overflow of who God has made you to be. It's a lifelong dance ... for her heart: A daughter needs a dad (or father figure) to show her she is loved. On February 24 from 6:30-8 p.m., we have a special evening planned for girls ages 4 and up to help preserve those special moments between a little girl and the special man in her life. The evening will include dancing, desserts, and fun activities for all. Tickets are on sale at the Splash Counter for $10 per couple through February 22. Learn more on our website.
